Warranty, Return and Refund Policy

  1. If you receive an item from us that is not of acceptable quality, you must bring it to our attention within 24 hours of receipt via emailing jawasjunkyard@gmail.com and outlining your concerns.

  2. In accordance with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), being schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010, for items that are faulty or are not as described, we will issue you with a refund of the full amount paid by you for that product within five business days.

  3. Jawas Junkyard is not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind.

  4. Jawas Junkyard provides a one-year repair or replacement on electronic components and hilt components. All items will be assessed on a case-by-case basis to determine fault and remediation type.

  5. Jawas Junkyard reserves the right to inspect and assess all warranty claims before proceeding with remediation.

  6. If the item you purchased has a major problem, you may choose either a refund or an exchange. This is when the item:

    1. Has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying the item if they had have known about it

    2. Is unsafe

    3. Is significantly different from the sample or description

    4. Doesn’t do what we said it would, or what you asked for and can’t be easily fixed.

Alternatively, you can choose to keep the item and we will compensate you for any drop in value. If the problem is not major, we will repair the item within a reasonable time. If it is not repaired in a reasonable time you can choose a refund or replacement.

  1. You are required to keep your proof of purchase in all circumstances.

  2. In the event of a warranty claim, Jawas Junkyard will arrange return shipping of the item in question for repair or replacement.

  3. For non-warranty issues, the cost of shipping will not be covered by Jawas Junkyard.


Shipping Policy

  1. Jawas Junkyard orders are carried out and delivered by third party contractors/companies.

  2. Jawas Junkyard will endeavour to ship your order as soon as possible from the point of purchase, provided the stock is available at the time (backorders and pre-orders will take longer and these timeframes will be clearly displayed prior to ordering).

  3. Dispatch from Victoria, Australia will occur within three business days (excluding pre-order or back-order stock).

  4. You will receive a notification and tracking number once your item has been shipped.

  5. If there is a delay to the shipment of your purchase, you will be advised of this.

  6. Shipping is via Australia Post and is subject to their delivery timeframes. Please note that the usual express shipping times are not currently being guaranteed by Australia Post, and there may be some delays due to its network.

  7. Jawas Junkyard is not responsible for any customs duties, fees, tariffs, taxes or other import related fees. Nor is Jawas Junkyard responsible for any fees or costs, or loss of item associated with clearance or lack thereof in any customs related enquiry of the importer. Please ensure you are familiar with any processes, documentation, costs or limitations of import before you purchase. If you have any questions in regard to this, please contact your local customs broker.

  8. All shipping of hilts (where labelled) will be shipped registered and insured for full value of the item. This insurance is through the shipping company, and all claims of damage or loss must be made through the shipping company. The customer is required to co-operate with any investigation requested via the postal company to be eligible for any compensation from this insurance.
