Project Ronin v2- Empty Hilt

Our second take on a popular hilt. Designed to be the companion of a mysterious character, a mysterious protector with no name. The Ronin.

The V2, is a more slender version and more accurate designed as a sketch over the prop visible at 2025 SWC Japan.

This hilt will be made of machined T6 aircraft grade aluminium that is anodised to colour. It will include black para cord of sufficient length to DIY or comission an accurate ITO wrap.

The core section is stainless steel thats PVD coated white to "simulate" a ray skin.

The hilt is designed with a custom 7/8" blade slot. It will work with standard 7/8" blades and custom katana blades that use a 7/8" adaptor. 

An oval internal bore for electronics installation (no electronics are included). 

I will offer a Nylon printed chassis (optional) available on a group buy to keep the cost down. 

I do have a scabbard (or shieth) available as a printed kit (also optional) to support those who want the full set-up. The sheith is going to come as a printed in multi colour ABS-CF home print. No painting required, however, you can always paint to spruise it up. It will require some gluing of rods to adjoin the 4 parts together. 

Please note, no blade is included with the sheath. We will discuss blade options at a later date.
